Rebecca Albiani leads an engaging discussion of photographer Carrie Mae Weems' powerful work featured in the Tacoma Art Museum exhibition. The talk explores Weems' influential bodies of work including Ain't Jokin' and The Kitchen Table Series, examining how she uses image, text, and storytelling to challenge historical narratives and reshape perspectives on identity, family, and social justice.
