Terms of service

Last updated July 16, 2026

Plain-English terms for using Showout. Using the site means you're okay with these.

What Showout is

Showout is a free calendar of public events, assembled automatically from public sources and curated with care. It's provided as-is: we work hard to make it accurate and complete, but we can't guarantee either.

Event information

Events are run by their venues and promoters, not by us. Dates change, shows sell out, things get cancelled. For anything you'd be sad to miss (or to show up to on the wrong night), confirm with the venue or ticket link — every listing links to its source. Showout isn't responsible for what happens at events or for losses caused by listing errors, though we fix errors fast when you report them.

Your account

Accounts are free and exist to save events and set preferences. Keep your login to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under it. You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@showout.ai. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Acceptable use

Don't attack, overload, or attempt to break the service, and don't use it to harass anyone. If you want to use Showout's data commercially — in an app, a product, or a publication — talk to us first; we license the calendar and are easy to talk to.

Our content

The Showout name, design, and the curated calendar itself belong to Showout. The underlying facts — that a show is happening at a venue on a date — belong to nobody; verify them wherever you like.

Liability, in plain English

Showout is free, and our liability to you is limited to the maximum extent the law allows. We provide the service without warranties of any kind, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using it.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll note it here with a new date. Continuing to use Showout after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions: hello@showout.ai.
