Art History Lecture Series | Margaret Tomkins: Metamorphosis
Art historian Rebecca Albiani presents a lecture on Margaret Tomkins, tracing her artistic evolution from Social Realism through Surrealism to Abstract Expressionism. The talk explores Tomkins' role as a key figure in the Pacific Northwest art world and her work in establishing Seattle's first artist-owned gallery. This is part of the Frye Art Museum's ongoing Art History Lecture Series.
