Seattle-based multimedia artist Ashley Ponce takes over the Artist in Residence space at ARTS at King Street Station, showcasing interactive robotic sculptures inspired by traditional Peruvian textiles and blending technology with cultural heritage. The residency runs from April 2 to May 30, 2026, with the gallery open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM, and until 8 PM on First Thursdays. Admission is free.

Ashley Ponce
Ashley Ponce is a Seattle-based technologist and multimedia artist of Peruvian and Cuban American heritage. Drawing from ancient Peruvian textile traditions and her background in computer science engineering from Princeton University, her work blends traditional materials with contemporary technology through interactive robotic sculptures.
