Auburn Symphony Orchestra is a fully professional orchestra based in Auburn, Washington, comprising more than 60 professional musicians. Under the direction of Wesley Schulz, the orchestra performs a diverse repertoire ranging from classical masterworks to contemporary compositions, and serves the South Puget Sound community through live orchestral performances and educational initiatives.
Seattle Pro Musica is an award-winning choral ensemble of 80 singers based in Seattle, directed by conductor and composer Karen P. Thomas since 1987. Widely considered one of the finest ensembles in the Pacific Northwest, they have received international recognition for their critically-acclaimed CD recordings and live performances, including appearances on NPR's Saint Paul Sunday and at major festivals worldwide.
Alicia Olatuja is a mezzo-soprano vocalist, composer, and educator from St. Louis who blends jazz, blues, gospel, classical, pop, and Afropop genres. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, she has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and with notable artists including Christian McBride, Chaka Khan, and Bebe Winans.
Tess Altiveros is an American soprano praised for her "assured, glamorous" voice and "magnetic acting," highly sought after in opera houses and concert halls. A native Seattleite, she is equally at home in repertoire ranging from the 17th century to contemporary works, with signature roles including the Female Soldier in The Falling and the Rising and Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro.
Sarah Larsen is a distinguished mezzo-soprano praised for her "sizzling" and "riveting" performances on operatic and concert stages across the United States. She made her Metropolitan Opera debut in 2016 and maintains a long-standing relationship with Seattle Opera, having performed leading roles in works including Ariadne auf Naxos, Hänsel und Gretel, and La traviata.
Katherine Goforth is an American vocalist and creator known for her "thrilling tenor power" and "noble, colorful and iridescent vocal sound." A classically trained performer, writer, and composer, she is a transgender woman who advocates for LGBTQ+ inclusion in the performing arts and has performed at prestigious venues including the Kennedy Center, Stanford Live, and Festival d'Aix-en-Provence.
Zachary Lenox is a classically trained baritone with a broad, resonant voice described as exquisitely controlled throughout his entire range. Karen P. Thomas is a composer and conductor serving as Artistic Director and Conductor of Seattle Pro Musica since 1987.
