Automatic, an LA-based synth pop trio, performs their second album 'Excess' which blends retrofuturist motorik pop with cold wave influences. The album explores themes of corporate culture, alienation, and escapism through deadpan critiques and synthesizer-driven hooks. Opener Donzii joins the 21+ show at Neumos.

Automatic is a San Francisco native rapper and DJ who broke into the hip-hop scene in 1982, earning recognition as "One of San Francisco's Funkiest D.J.'s." Known for his phenomenal turntable abilities and natural flow, he released his debut record "I'm Automatic" in 1991 on Prime Time Records and has performed throughout California at clubs, concerts, and car shows.
