Barry Johnson: Silence Is Golden
Barry Johnson, a songwriter and performer who's shared stages with everyone from gospel legend Jesse Dixon to Allman Brothers guitarist Dan Toler, brings his work to the Northwest African American Museum in the Central District on Friday, August 7. The exhibition "Silence Is Golden" runs at the historic 1909 Colman School building, where NAAM showcases African American art and culture of the Pacific Northwest.

    ​Barry Johnson is a songwriter, performer, and music producer. His appearances in the US and abroad include music festivals, concert halls, conferences, and TV and radio. He’s had the privilege of performing with Allman Brothers’ guitarist Dan Toler, Gospel legend Jesse Dixon, and CCM artists Paul Baloche, Tommy Walker, and Karen Lafferty.
