Bikini Kill
Bikini Kill plays Seattle Center on Saturday, August 29th. The riot grrrl pioneers are performing at the 74-acre arts complex in Lower Queen Anne, which spans everything from the Space Needle to multiple theaters and outdoor stages. If you were into them in the '90s or just want to see a band that basically invented a genre, this is the thing.

Kathleen Hanna sang, Tobi Vail played drums, Billy Karren (a.k.a. Billy Boredom) played guitar and Kathi Wilcox played bass. Sometimes they switched instruments.
