Boo-tanical Relief Block Printing (in-person)

Make a Halloween-themed block print with artist Anneke Wilder at the Center for Urban Horticulture on Saturday, October 24. Wilder combines her background in biology and ecology with printmaking, so expect designs rooted in actual plants rather than generic spooky stuff. It's a hands-on class in the University District if you want to make something you'll actually keep.

Anneke Wilder
Anneke Wilder explored the countryside of her South Carolina home as a young person. Her curiosity about nature has stayed with her wherever she goes. Drawing accompanied her on those journeys. In college she studied biology and ecology in a serious way, then chose to combine both interests in making a career.
