Boots' Backalleys is opening Soundbreak with Public Vinyl Radio spinning nothing but records on custom-built gear at Lake Union Park on Saturday, August 8. If you want to hear actual vinyl—pops, hiss, and all that analog life—played through a system built for feel rather than volume, this is the thing. It's all ages and outdoors, so bring a friend or your bike.

100% vinyl, start to finish. We dig for the records, build the systems that play them, and put on the music that moves us — global rhythms, deep grooves, no filler. We play records because they're alive — the pops, the hiss, the imperfections that make a set breathe. Everything runs through custom-built speakers and a rotary mixer, tuned for feel, not for volume. Hi-fi warmth over a predictable PA stack.
