Chinese American Bear is an American pop duo from Seattle, Washington, consisting of married couple Lingbo Anne Tong and Bryce Barsten. They create experimental, psychedelic C-pop music blending Mandarin and English lyrics with playful, food-themed songwriting. Since their 2020 debut, they've gained international recognition with albums including their self-titled debut (2022) and Wah!!! (2024).
Shelby Natasha is a Seattle-based songwriter and music producer whose sound blends alt-R&B and Chinese folk music. Influenced by her upbringing between China and the Pacific Northwest, her ethereal vocals are accompanied by the traditional Chinese instrument, Guzheng, and layered over lo-fi beats.
