Darude
Finnish DJ Darude brings his progressive trance sound to Q Nightclub in Capitol Hill on August 22nd. The producer behind the ubiquitous "Sandstorm" still tours on the strength of that late-90s hit, but if you're curious what he's actually doing now, this 12,500-square-foot venue with its Funktion-One system should make for a proper listen.

    Toni-Ville Henrik Virtanen (Finnish: [ˈtoniˌʋilːe ˈhenrik ˈʋirtɑnen]; born 17 July 1975), better known by his stage name Darude (), is a Finnish DJ and record producer from Eura, Satakunta. His music is characterised by its progressive/uplifting style. He started making music in 1995 and released the platinum-selling hit single "Sandstorm" in late 1999.
