El último sueño de Frida y Diego
A new opera about Mexican muralist Diego Rivera and artist Frida Kahlo set during the Day of the Dead festival. Featuring music by Grammy Award-winning composer Gabriela Lena Frank and a libretto by Pulitzer Prize winner Nilo Cruz, with a fantastical set design.

    Winner of the Pulitzer Prize in Music for 2026, identity has always been at the center of composer/pianist Gabriela Lena Frank's music. Born in Berkeley, California (September, 1972), to a mother of indigenous Peruvian/Chinese ancestry and a father of Lithuanian/Jewish descent, Gabriela explores her multicultural heritage through her compositions.
