Epik High (Korean: 에픽하이) is a South Korean hip-hop trio formed in 2002, composed of rapper, record producer, and songwriter Tablo, rapper and lyricist Mithra Jin, and DJ and beatmaker DJ Tukutz. Based in Seoul, the trio first met in 2002 before signing with Woollim Entertainment and released their first two studio albums, Map of the Human Soul (2003) and High Society (2004).
Daniel Seon Woong Lee (Korean: 이선웅; born July 22, 1980), better known by his stage name Tablo (타블로), is a South Korean and Canadian rapper, songwriter and record producer. Tablo is best known as the leader and producer of South Korean hip-hop group Epik High, and the founder of independent music label Highgrnd, which housed bands Hyukoh and The Black Skirts.
Choi Jin (Korean: 최진; born 6 January 1983), more commonly known by the stage name Mithra Jin (미쓰라 진), is a South Korean rapper and lyricist, best known as a member of the hip hop group Epik High.
Kim Jeong-sik (Korean: 김정식; born 19 November 1981), more commonly known by the stage name DJ Tukutz (DJ 투컷), is a South Korean DJ, record producer and composer. He is best known as a member of the hip hop group Epik High.
