Max Richter (; German: [ˈʁɪçtɐ]; born 22 March 1966) is a German-born British composer and pianist. He works within postminimalist and contemporary classical styles. Richter is classically trained, having graduated in composition from the University of Edinburgh, the Royal Academy of Music in London, and studied with Luciano Berio in Italy.
Auburn Symphony Orchestra is a fully professional orchestra based in Auburn, Washington, comprising more than 60 professional musicians. Under the direction of Wesley Schulz, the orchestra performs a diverse repertoire ranging from classical masterworks to contemporary compositions, and serves the South Puget Sound community through live orchestral performances and educational initiatives.
