Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines play the converted church at Fremont Abbey on Saturday, August 22, bringing the first stop of their tour to Seattle. Jonas is a New Jersey songwriter who spent years finding his voice after his early debut, and this new project channels storytelling and reflection—the kind of intimate show that actually benefits from a 1914 sanctuary's acoustics.
