On the first Thursday of September, MOHAI opens its doors free to everyone—a chance to wander through Seattle's history without paying admission. The museum's permanent collections cover everything from the city's early days through now, spread across the historic Naval Reserve Building in South Lake Union, and it's all ages friendly.
