Pacific Northwest Ballet performs Balanchine's version of The Nutcracker at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall in Queen Anne on Sunday, December 6, 2026. It's the classical ballet with orchestra—the one people actually go back for—staged in a proper 2,900-seat theater at Seattle Center. If you want to see actual dancers do actual difficult things to live music, this is the seasonal option.
