Gypsy 83: The Director’s Cut – New 4K Restoration

This 4K restoration of the cult indie road movie about two goth kids escaping their small town plays at SIFF Film Center in Queen Anne—a 90-seat theater with seats salvaged from the old Seattle Cinerama, now equipped for serious film presentation. If you've seen it before, the new transfer might actually be worth another look; if you haven't, it's a genuinely odd coming-of-age story with real affection for its outsider characters.
