Have a Nice Life is an American post-punk/shoegaze duo from Middletown, Connecticut, formed in 2000 by Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga. Best known for their 2008 cult classic debut album Deathconsciousness, they blend gothic rock, industrial, ambient, and drone elements into dark, atmospheric music that gained grassroots support through online communities.
Rhododendron is a math rock and post-hardcore band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2019. The trio of Ezra Chong (guitar, vocals), Gage Walker (bass), and Noah Mortola (drums) creates dense, technical, and dynamic music that blends influences from old-school math rock, post-hardcore, post-rock, drone, and jazz. They have released multiple EPs and LPs, with their sophomore full-length album scheduled for 2026.
