In the Next Room
At Bainbridge Performing Arts, a group of women in the Victorian era undergo a medical treatment involving early electrical devices, leading them to question societal norms about pleasure and autonomy. Written by Sarah Ruhl, this play explores female desire and bodily autonomy with humor and tenderness.
