A hands-on workshop taught by Erin Cox on making cordage from locally available plants. Participants will learn to create 2-stranded hand-woven rope or twine using materials like daylily, crocosmia, and dandelion, with all materials provided.

  • Erin Cox is a Seattle-based artist, basket weaver, teacher, and forager specializing in sustainable wildcrafting and natural fiber art. Working exclusively with hand-gathered plants from the Pacific Northwest, she creates functional and sculptural basketry while teaching others about ethical foraging, environmental stewardship, and the living tradition of weaving.
