Jade Solomon Curtis: Keeper of Sadness
Choreographer Jade Solomon Curtis presents a work-in-progress dance piece exploring Black trauma and intergenerational pain in the Joni Earl Great Hall at Union Station on Sunday, August 2. This contemporary work draws from Curtis's own experiences with racism and examines how historical wounds persist through communities. The 1910 ballroom's soaring barrel-vaulted ceiling provides an unexpectedly grand setting for intimate artistic reckoning.
