Brazilian pianist and composer Jovino Santos Neto brings his trio to the Washington Park Arboretum's Graham Visitors Center on Thursday, August 13—a chance to hear a three-time Latin Grammy nominee in an outdoor setting among the trees. Santos Neto spent 15 years with legendary percussionist Hermeto Pascoal before landing in Seattle in 1993, and has been a fixture in the local jazz scene ever since. All ages.

Three-time Latin Grammy nominee Jovino Santos Neto is a master pianist, flutist, composer, arranger, conductor and educator from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After 15 years as a member of the legendary Hermeto Pascoal Group, he moved to Seattle in 1993, where he has established himself as a charismatic performer leading his award-winning Quinteto and collaborating with world-class musicians.
