The Seattle Seafair Pirates are a voluntary performance troupe founded in 1949 by members of the Washington State Press Club's Ale & Quail Society. With 40+ elite members selected for their theatrical talent and public engagement skills, they have become iconic performers at Seattle's annual Seafair festival and appear at numerous parades, community events, and charitable functions throughout the year.
