Born from the essence, Black Rave Culture lifts up the torch and begins to walk forward spreading the message of Black Rave. Amal, James Bangura, & Nativesun Hailing from the District of Columbia, come together to bring you a new sound, the sound of their city.
Born and raised in Queens, a city dweller and a club kid, Kilopatrah has an innate and superlative gift for transferring energy from the booth to the dance floor—through exciting house, techno, and jungle, and moments that both harken to Sound Factory–era glory days and bring you to sweaty BPMs of the future.
Jubilee has been staying up all night since as long as anyone can remember. She grew up in South Florida on the sounds of Miami bass, freestyle and Dirty South rap blasting from local radio stations like Power 96 and 99 Jamz. As a teen, she traveled to raves up and down the coast, absorbing Florida’s uniquely regional palette of breaks, electro and drum ‘n’ bass.
Korra the Kid (Lauren Taylor) is a Seattle-based DJ with 10+ years of experience who predominantly plays hybrid sets mixing 160 DNB, hip hop, hyper pop, breaks, techno, footwork, jungle, and grime. Known for her percussion-heavy, underground electronic music style and described as a 'chameleon of sound,' she has performed at major festivals including Bass Coast, Cascadia, and APOG, and is a resident DJ for Deep N…
From first breaking out on Los Angeles’ Juke Bounce Werk’s ephemeral compilation series JB DUBZ, Mirin Doja has become a mainstay in the Pacific Northwest dance music scene. Her sound draws heavy inspiration from regional club music and UK sound system culture, playing selections ranging from jungle, juke, footwork, drum and bass, to breakbeat and uk garage.
Dark, genre-bending club sets for deep, emotional dance floors. Sharlese, the Seattle-based DJ and radio host, thrives on the unexpected. The complexities and intricacies built within one of her sets start a dialogue between genres: from electro to EBM, Italo to techno, her vocabulary is vast but always dark. Sharlese's DJing creates elegant moments in time in which to fall in love, to cry, to feel.
n-So is a project by composer Nick Angeloni based on the combination of analog synthesizers with piano and drums. The project released the album 'The Unknowing' in September 2022.
