Stravinsky’s Petrushka and Leila Josefowicz

Stravinsky’s ballet Petrushka, about a flute-playing showman who brings puppets to life, is performed alongside Szymanowski’s Second Violin Concerto with violinist Leila Josefowicz. Jonathan Stockhammer conducts the program, which opens with Unsuk Chin’s Rocaná, a musical depiction of light phenomena. The event takes place at Benaroya Hall.
