Jay Parnell’s art work combines elements of historical narrative painting and Christian iconography to question modern mythology in a timeless manner. Jay is based in Indianapolis, Indiana with work in public and private collections throughout the United States,Europe and the Caribbean.
Sally is offering a class soon in the UK utilizing all of Elise’s techniques and also Wagner Collagraph Wax. In this conversation, Elise Wagner sits down with Sally Hirst, a Norwich-based painter, printmaker, and teacher known for her fearlessly experimental approach to printmaking.
Leeah Joo is a Korean-American painter based in Connecticut. Born in 1971 in Seoul, Leeah was raised by a sculptor father and an illustrator mother. At age ten, her family moved to Indianapolis, where she spent her youth. She studied painting and art history at Indiana University in Bloomington and received her MFA in painting from Yale School of Art. Her paintings have exhibited widely in U.S.
Heather Goodwind is a visual artist based in Portland, Oregon, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1973. She holds a BA in Sculpture from Portland State University (1996) and creates abstract works using mixed traditional media, including ink on paper and acrylic paintings, drawing inspiration from both Asian and Modern art.
