Katherine Glew leads a workshop on lichens at the Graham Visitors Center in Washington Park Arboretum on Saturday, October 31st. If you've ever wondered what those crusty, colorful growths on rocks and trees actually are, this is your chance to learn from someone who studies them seriously. The arboretum's 230 acres give you plenty of real specimens to examine while you're there.
