Every spring, the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens—a National Historic Site in Woodland—opens its grounds for Lilac Days, when hundreds of lilac varieties bloom across the Victorian-era property. It's part botanical tour, part nostalgia trip through an 1880s farmhouse, with plant sales and seasonal events running through Mother's Day. Go if you want to walk through actual lilacs in full flower rather than just admire them in someone's yard.Recurs: Each spring, April through May
