D'Vonne Lewis, a drummer and bandleader with serious jazz credentials, brings his ensemble to City Center Plaza on Wednesday, September 9 for the third installment of Live at Lunch. It's free, it's outdoors, and it's timed so you can actually eat lunch while listening to someone who knows what he's doing behind the kit.

    D'vonne Lewis

    Composer/band leader/poet/drummer D’Vonne Lewis is the grandson of the ‘Godfather’ of rock and roll/soul: 1950’s-1960’s Northwest organ legend Dave Lewis. D’Vonne is a first-call drummer to many bands and legendary musicians, nationally and worldwide. Lewis graduated from Seattle’s Roosevelt High School in 2002 and was a member of the award-winning jazz band, directed by SRJO trombonist, Scott Brown.
