Director Peter Sellars reunites with the Los Angeles Master Chorale for a meditation on saying goodbye, inspired by Baroque composer Heinrich Schütz. The performance features solo voices and a shifting choral ensemble in a ritual of leave-taking that explores grief, transformation, and the strength found in farewell.
