Built to Spill is an American indie rock band formed in Boise, Idaho in 1992, centered on lead vocalist and guitarist Doug Martsch as the only permanent member. Coral Grief is the Seattle-based dream pop project of Lena Farr-Morrissey (vocals, bass, synth) Sam Fason (guitar, synth) and Cam Hancock (drums). Rich guitars, glowing synths, driving bass, and ethereal vocals swirl around skeletal drum beats to create a textured, intricate sound that is experimental, playful, and catchy.
