Noveltease Theatre strips down Shakespeare's comedy into a burlesque play—expect neo-burlesque performance art that treats the text seriously while having fun with it. Friday, September 11 at Theatre Off Jackson in the International District; the venue's a 140-seat nonprofit space that books weird and wonderful stuff. 18+.

Noveltease Theatre
Noveltease Theatre produces contemporary burlesque plays, blending neo-burlesque styling with the theatrical roots of burlesque theatre in the 1880s. Through a combination of text and dance, we seek to embody literature and create shared community around storytelling.
