Jovino Santos Neto Trio and Stephanie Anne Johnson bring jazz to the trees on Wednesday, August 5 at Washington Park Arboretum. Santos Neto, a three-time Latin Grammy nominee and Rio-born pianist, spent 15 years with Brazilian legend Hermeto Pascoal before settling in Seattle—this is a free, all-ages outdoor concert from someone who actually knows what he's doing.

    Three-time Latin Grammy nominee Jovino Santos Neto is a master pianist, flutist, composer, arranger, conductor and educator from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After 15 years as a member of the legendary Hermeto Pascoal Group, he moved to Seattle in 1993, where he has established himself as a charismatic performer leading his award-winning Quinteto and collaborating with world-class musicians.
