Brazilian pianist and composer Jovino Santos Neto Trio takes the stage at Washington Park Arboretum on Monday, August 3, bringing three decades of jazz and Latin music expertise to an outdoor setting. The three-time Latin Grammy nominee leads a group that blends his Rio de Janeiro roots with the Seattle jazz scene he's helped shape since the '90s. Free and all ages.

    Three-time Latin Grammy nominee Jovino Santos Neto is a master pianist, flutist, composer, arranger, conductor and educator from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After 15 years as a member of the legendary Hermeto Pascoal Group, he moved to Seattle in 1993, where he has established himself as a charismatic performer leading his award-winning Quinteto and collaborating with world-class musicians.
