Three local bands—Avenue East, Thief Motif, and Persephone Darke—play a benefit show in the basement of Add-A-Ball, Fremont's pinball and arcade bar, on August 2nd. Thief Motif trades in hazy indie pop with atmospheric distortion; if you want live music with a side of vintage machines and cheap beer, this is the setup.
