Nature, Art & Literature: Cascade of Life Book Launch and Fall Preview

Emily Poole, an illustrator trained at RISD who's spent her life drawing the American West, is launching her book "Cascade of Life" at Black Diamond on Wednesday, August 26. The event pairs her nature artwork with a fall preview and will include performance from Canadian singer Kate Rogers. If you're into the intersection of visual art, natural history, and music, this is a specific enough gathering to warrant the trip.

Emily Poole
Born and raised in the mountain town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Emily Poole has been exploring the wild spaces of the western United States since shortly before she could walk. Emily holds a BFA in illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and has created work for organizations such as Creature Conserve, HawkWatch International, and the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
