Pasatono Orquesta
Pasatono Orquesta, an eight-member ensemble of ethnomusicologists from Oaxaca, performs traditional Mixtec music alongside modern arrangements at STG at Kerry Hall on September 20th. The group was founded to rescue and promote regional music that might otherwise fade, so you're essentially hearing living cultural work rather than a museum piece.
