Seattle-based Polyrhythmics celebrate 16 years of sonic exploration with vocalist Adryon de León as a full collaborative partner. The ensemble blends funk, soul, psychedelic rock, R&B, and Afrobeat into dynamic, groove-heavy performances. This evening features two sets showcasing their latest album 'Life from Below' and upcoming collaborative work.

    Polyrhythmics sound originated in Seattle’s underground deep funk scene combining impossibly tight grooves with bold brass and hypnotic percussion that showcased elements of R&B, progressive jazz, and Afrobeat which defined the instrumental group’s early era sound.

  • Adryon de León

    Adryon de León, born and raised in the tiny artist’s village of Ojai, CA cut her teeth in a Baptist congregation. Over formative years, musical theater infused de León’s life resulting in a unique theatrical, gritty, and soulful sound. Currently, she is a featured principal vocalist/performer for the Disneyland Resort, has performed background vocals for Macy Gray, Patti Austin, The Growlers, and George Clinton.
