Reggie Garrett and cellist Christine Gunn bring their AfroRock and layered instrumental work to West Central Park on Saturday, August 8. Garrett's been cycling through various musical projects for years—most recently the SnakeOil Peddlers—while Gunn loops cello into rich, textured soundscapes; together with Mamazon they're an all-ages outdoor show worth catching if you want something beyond the usual park concert fare.
