Seattle Symphony: Halloween Spooktacular!
The Seattle Symphony trades its usual classical restraint for Halloween theatrics on October 31st at Benaroya Hall downtown. Expect orchestral arrangements of spooky standards and seasonal fare—the kind of thing that works for both kids who want to hear a real orchestra and adults who appreciate the absurdity of a full symphony section playing monster movie music. It's family-friendly, which means you can actually bring the costumed children without guilt.

Lineup

  • Seattle Wind Symphony is a 55-member audition-level woodwind, brass, and percussion ensemble founded in 2011 to present professional quality symphonic wind music to the general public, educators, and students in the Puget Sound region. The ensemble is dedicated to performing compelling literature from diverse composers and inspiring young musicians by modeling high standards of music and performance.
