A free lunchtime concert featuring Sexteto Tradicuba, a six-piece Cuban band led by Pedro Vargas, performing traditional Cuban son, guaracha, and other styles with modern twists at City Hall Plaza.

Lineup

  • Pedro Vargas Mata (1906-1989) was a legendary Mexican tenor and actor from the golden age of Mexican cinema, known as the "Nightingale of the Americas." Despite his operatic training, he dedicated his career to popular song, becoming one of the principal interpreters of composer Agustín Lara and achieving international recognition across Latin America, the United States, Europe, and Asia.
