Some'tet, a Seattle jazz ensemble built from years of Sunday-night improvisation, plays Durong on August 2nd. Expect nylon-string guitar, textured torch songs, and the kind of post-jazz sprawl that comes from musicians who've actually played together long enough to know where they're going. 21 and up.

April 2013, nylon string guitarist & composer Michael Whitmore begins a weekly residency at the Snapdragon Café on Vashon Island, WA. Over the next couple of years this ‘Sunday night jam’ grew into a full-blooded ensemble -- the whole jazz, post-jazz, improvised music, sonically textured torch songs from Mars kit & caboodle.
