The Juan Maclean and Matthew Dear are joining forces for a back-to-back set at Hidden Hall on Friday, August 14—two producers who've spent decades reshaping electronic music from opposite angles, one through dance-punk and nu disco, the other through experimental pop and remixes for everyone from The XX to Chemical Brothers. Hidden Hall's got the sound system and lighting to match the occasion, built into Fremont's old High Dive bones with a wraparound mezzanine and stone walls. If you want to watch two people who actually know what they're doing behind the decks, this is the move.
