  Taylor Momsen is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist born July 26, 1993, in St. Louis, Missouri. She transitioned from child acting (notably as Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl) to lead the rock band The Pretty Reckless, formed in 2009, where she serves as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist.
