The Strokes bring their Reality Awaits tour to Climate Pledge Arena in Queen Anne on Friday, August 28, 2026. The New York garage rock revivalists who defined the early-2000s sound are still a reliable draw if you want sharp guitars, deadpan vocals, and the kind of restless energy that doesn't really age out. The venue itself is a carbon-neutral arena at Seattle Center, so at least the infrastructure is trying.

The Strokes
The Strokes are an American rock band formed in New York City in 1998. The band is composed of lead singer and primary songwriter Julian Casablancas, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr., bassist Nikolai Fraiture, and drummer Fabrizio Moretti. They were a leading group of the early-2000s garage rock revival and post-punk revival movements.
