Tractor Presents: Robert Ellis w/ Wheelwright at The Sunset
Concert$27
Lineup
Fort Worth, TX singer-songwriter Robert Ellis has spent over a decade defying easy categorization, moving fluidly between country, pop, and jazz across albums like Photographs, The Lights from the Chemical Plant, and 2019's Texas Piano Man — the record that earned him his enduring nickname. His stripped-down 2023 album Yesterday's News found him at his most intimate, trading arrangements for quiet reflection.
Wheelwright brings a southwestern sound of pop and grunge from the sprawling desert city of Phoenix, AZ. None of his songs are idealistic. No light without darkness, no laughter without at least some suffering, no thoughtfulness without some recklessness.
