5 Seconds of Summer is an Australian pop rock band formed in Sydney in 2011, consisting of Luke Hemmings (lead vocals), Michael Clifford (guitar), Calum Hood (bass), and Ashton Irwin (drums). Rising to international fame through YouTube and touring with One Direction, they have become one of the most successful Australian musical acts in history, with over 10 million albums sold and 7 billion streams. The band has achieved three consecutive number one albums on the Billboard 200 and released their latest album EVERYONE'S A STAR! in 2025.
