Chris Stanley crafts timeless songs rooted in authenticity, with a sound that blends singer-songwriter intimacy with the grit of rock and the warmth of adult contemporary. Nostalgic, yet new. Sincere. Seasoned. Soulful. His music speaks to all ages — a soundtrack for those who’ve lived, loved, and long for something real. Chris’s first official release, the self-funded and self-titled EP, was recorded at Seattle's infamous London Bridge Studio with producer Eric Lilavois in the summer of 2023. The EP was a collaboration with the talents of Seattle Symphony's Andrew Joslyn, and featured drummers Thane Mitchell and Ben Smith, as well as bassist Andy Stoller, who are perhaps most recognized for their work with ‘Heart’. Chris celebrated the release with a performance at Seattle's iconic Tractor Tavern April 11th, 2024. The EP boasts tracks like the reflective, piano-centered ‘World Goes Around’ and ‘Pieces’, a heartfelt vocal duet with spine chilling strings. The EP caught the attention of an L.A. based Synch Licensing firm which signed Chris’s music for film and television.
